Promoting Wellness and Reducing Health Disparities

BCBSIL helps promote wellness and address health care disparities by funding, through our grant and sponsorship programs, community organizations that have expertise and strong relationships with underserved populations. In addition, we are active participants in implementing the Illinois State Health Improvement Plan, and we offer direct services in partnership with local health departments through our Care Van mobile clinic program.
